Am Sonntag, den 12.08 präsentieren WEBOOGIE und THROUGH MY SPEAKERS die Open-Air Party “HOMIE, LOVER, FRIEND” ! Acts aus Amsterdam, London und Berlin werden bei hoffentlich bestem Wetter im Backyard des Yaam einen modernen, frischen Mix aus Boogie, Funk, Hiphop, Grime, UK Garage, Trap und jeder Menge artverwandten basslastigen Genres präsentieren. Das Open-Air im Backyard beginnt um 12h und ab 22h geht es drinnen im Yaam mit der Afterparty weiter!

THROUGH MY SPEAKERS
Through My Speakers (TMS) originally started as an exclusive Facebook group in 2010. A virtual place where music connoisseurs, DJ’s and musicians from all over the world share their songs, work and events in a like-minded environment. Even in the virtual era face-to-face contact is still highly valued if it comes to creative exchange and collaboration. Therefore two members of TMS decided to bring the community to a more stationary environment alongside their social media platform by hosting a monthly event at Pride Bar/Club in Berlin. The TMS members and following were now given the opportunity to actually meet, to explore new fields and to exchange ideas in person, while continuing to share their common interest in music online.

WEBOOGIE
Weboogie is a fresh collective that brings the Boogie to Berlin and Beyond through wevents, a weblog and weeeeemixes. The collective celebrates New Jack Swing, Boogie, Funk, Hiphop, UK Garage, R’nB, Future Soul, House, Bass and Beats but most importantly any music sparking that Weboogie Swing. Their digital mixes are provided with a manually crafted cover, reflecting a little story behind the mixes and carefully selected DJ.
